Student Vehicle Registration Information

FRESHMAN INFORMATION

Student Vehicle Registration Cards for Fall 2007 will be sent to all freshman in the housing packet.  Please complete the vehicle registration with your Truman State University address and telephone number.  The license plate number must be included with all other vehicle information before a parking decal will be issued. The $50 fee for the parking decal will be billed to your Student Account at the Business Office and included on your monthly statement.  PLEASE DO NOT SEND PAYMENT WITH THIS APPLICATION.  Parking decals are valid for one academic year and expire on August 31, 2008.  The decals will be in your move-in folder that you will receive on Freshman move-in day on Sunday, August 19th.  A map and parking rules and regulations will be included with your decal.  Parking Services in the Department of Public Safety Building will be open on Sunday, August 19th, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., if you have any changes or questions or do not pre-register your vehicle.  After Sunday, August 19th you may register your vehicle from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., Monday thru Friday.  DPS is located north of the Student Recreation Center at the corner of Franklin and Normal Streets.  Any further vehicle changes need to be reported to Parking Services immediately.  Freshman 2006 student vehicle registration cards must be returned to the Department of Public Safety by Thursday, July 26, 2007.

UPPERCLASSMAN INFORMATION

Student Vehicle Registration Cards for Fall 2007 will be sent to all upperclassmen sometime in July.  Please complete the vehicle registration with your Truman State University address and telephone number.  The license plate number must be included with all other vehicle information before a parking decal will be issued. The $50 fee for the parking decal will be billed to your Student Account at the Business Office and included on your monthly statement.  PLEASE DO NOT SEND PAYMENT WITH THIS APPLICATION.  Parking decals are valid for one academic year and expire on August 31, 2008.  Off-campus students will receive a blue decal.  Resident students will receive a green decal.  The Park 'N Save decal is available for $15, which allows a student to park at Stokes Stadium parking lot and the parking lot by the tennis courts south of Campbell Apartments ONLY.  If you wish to receive the Gold Park 'N Save decal please circle GOLD in the box.  The decals will be distributed on UPPERCLASSMEN move-in Sunday, August 26th, at the Department of Public Safety Building, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. You make pick up the decal, map and parking rules and regulations and make any changes in local address information.  After Sunday, August 26, if you have pre-registered and not picked up your parking decal, you may do so at the DPS Building from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., Monday thru Friday.  DPS is located north of the Student Recreation Center at the corner of Franklin and Normal Streets.  Any further vehicle changes need to be reported to Parking Services immediately.  Upperclassmen for Fall 2007 student vehicle registration cards must be returned to the Department of Public Safety by Friday, August 3, 2007.
