Student Vehicle Registration Information

FRESHMAN INFORMATION

This is for the students' vehicle if it remains at Truman after move-in.  Complete the vehicle registration information and bring it to Summer Orientation or mail back to:  Public Safety, Truman State University, 100 E. Normal Street, Kirksville, MO  63501 by Thursday, July 23rd, 2009.

Complete Vehicle Registration Information on the pink card in the packet received with the following:

• The Student ID number will be a 9-digit number beginning with 3-4 zeros.
• You MUST include your vehicle license plate number on the registration card to receive a parking decal.
• DO NOT send payment for parking decal. We will charge your account $50 for the decal.
• Decals will be in a Department of Public Safety, Parking Services envelope in your Freshman packet (folder) which you will receive at your Residence Hall on move-in Saturday, August 22nd, 2009
• Put the decal on the outside of the rear glass on the lower left-hand corner (drivers' side rear glass)
• A campus parking map that includes the parking rules and regulations will be include with your parking decal.  It is your responsibility to read this information.

UPPERCLASSMAN INFORMATION

Registration cards will be mailed to the students permanent address by the end of June 2009.  Please complete the blue vehicle registration with the following information:

• The Student ID number will be a 9-digit number beginning with 3-4 zeros.
• You MUST include your vehicle license plate number on the registration card to receive a parking decal.
• DO NOT send payment for parking decal. We will charge your account $50 for the decal.
• If you want a Park n Save decal which allows you to ONLY park at Stokes Stadium or the lot by the tennis courts then circle gold.  Your student account will be charged $15.
• The decals will be distributed on Upperclassmen move-in Tuesday & Wednesday, August 25-26th at the Department of Public Safety Building from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• Decals should be picked up not later than September 25th.
• Any changes in vehicle or address changes need to be reported to Parking Services immediately.
