Services and Information

The Department of Public Safety is the campus police department which protects the property and preserves the peace and good order on the campus. The Department of Public Safety staff serves the campus 24-hours-a-day, 365-days-a-year, providing both emergency and non emergency assistance to students, employees, and visitors.

The Department of Public Safety is comprised of ten commissioned, armed, police officers with full powers of arrest. Each officer has been certified by the State of Missouri through completion of an accredited police academy and receives continuous education and training required for all police officers. These men and women conduct foot, bike, and vehicular patrols of the campus and residence halls 24-hours-a-day. The Department is supplemented by security officers and student admittance personnel.
