Not only is the end of the semester a busy time for students, it is also a busy time for thieves.  Reports of theft of books, back packs and computers go up during this time of year.  Remember, never leave your items unattended.  They can literally disappear in a matter of seconds.

Also, be mindful of your personal safety.  At night, travel in groups and use a well lighted heavily traveled route.  If you are alone, don’t hesitate to call 4177 for an on campus escort by DPS.  If you see something or someone suspicious, report it.  For a suspicious person, try to get an approximate height and weight, age, hair color, race and clothing description.  On suspicious vehicles, try to get a Make (Chevy/Ford), Model (Camaro/Mustang), Color and Body style (2 door/4 door/truck).
